GARTH, YOU ARE A FOOL

You know, I would have had more respect for Garth Turner had this joker NOT joined the Liberals today. He keeps on saying how he believes in accountability and an elected Senate and all that, and rants and raves about how members ought to be able to speak their minds . Well how is he going to do that as a member of the Liberals? Garth Turner is basically propping up a bunch of people who pay lip service to democratic accountability. And to top it all off, he's changing parties to boot.

Not that the Conservatives are doing any better these days what with all the floor-crossing going on, but Garth Turner has thrown away whatever principles he had advocated by supporting the Liberals. As I say, he would have had more respect from people if he stayed independent, or even if he joined the Greens. At least the Greens seem to have principles about accountability and all that. But the Liberals!?!!?!
